We have sad news….our beloved dog Baxter has headed over the rainbow bridge. He was where our love first blossomed into a family. He was our introduction into being parents and becoming responsible for another living thing. That is a serious responsibility we had to foster a deep appreciation for. Colorado winter walks at 3am in a 3rd story walk-up can really test a relationship and whose turn it is. Despite all of our shortfalls as new parents he loved us unconditionally. Standing in the window waiting for you to pull up in the driveway just so he could be first to see you at the door and rip the grocery bags out of your hands. He was there with us while we studied and worked and played games and grew up! Now we have been there for him until the very end, spoiling him rotten with food and love and play! Our next steps will be to honor him with our flagship site and plant a tree next to his grave so that he can keep chasing that squirrel running through the branches or bathe in the warm summer glow. Most of our lives we have been trying to give this boy more and more freedom, going from a studio apartment up to a 2 acre yard in the PNW out dipping his toes in the Pacific waters. Thank you for never giving up on us Baxter, we love you!

We are a week out on officially closing on this property and laying Baxter to rest, and the only thing stopping us is already behind us.
Keeping our progress update brief so we can focus on what mattered to us the most.
